Seafoam was created as part of a 3-part mermaid series for my Granddaughter Charlotte. I always wondered where the waves of foam come from that at times wash up on our beaches and look like a big bubblebath has tipped over into the ocean. I imagined a little mermaid washing her hands in an overflowing sink far beneath the waves. Of course she would have to have purple curly hair and a Seahorse as a friend.
