Waltzing Matilda
My first memories of learning about Australia were the words of this very iconic song that were taught to us by an Australian man wearing a cork slouch hat who came to my grade 3 music class. It still brings a smile to my face just as the bright red Waltzing Matilda dahlia flower does. Matilda here is not wearing a slouch hat but she is wearing a few brightly coloured dahlia's.
