Whale Play
One of the greatest things about living in Port Stephens is that each year we are treated to the magnificent migration of the humpback whales. The whale's great splashes and play can often be seen close to shore from numerous vantage points. We often go out on the rocks that jut into the sea at Boat Harbour to watch their display. I find myself staring in wonder at these beautiful, magnificent beasts. They play with such abandon and spirit that it makes me think of my own life and reminds me that I need to take time to play in my world too. Hopefully, this painting will inspire some play in your world!
