Part of a series of 8 fun, abstract paintings done in honour of the sea and the beautiful creatures that live in and around it. Rich greens, blues and highlights of orange, red and yellow bring back memories of coral reefs, snorkelling and diving. This painting will add vibrancy to any corner of a room that needs a touch of the sea.

Proteus Sea Turtle

This painting portrays Proteus, an ancient god of the sea, as a beautiful green sea turtle swimming up toward the light.  Sea turtles always seem so ancient and wise to me despite their slow pace. It's this wisdom that prompted me to give this turtle the crown of Proteus.
